Transitive Appoints Criss Harms as CFOSeasoned Finance Professional Joins Cross-Platform Virtualization Leader LOS GATOS, CA, – January 7, 2008 – Transitive® Corporation, the leading provider of cross-platform virtualization solutions, today announced that it has appointed Criss Harms to serve as its chief financial officer. Harms, a broadly experienced executive with more than 20 years spent in key finance and administration roles for several notable high-technology firms, will be responsible for financial and administrative management at Transitive, which sells the award-winning QuickTransit® range of enterprise cross-platform virtualization solutions. “Criss Harms joins the Transitive team at a critical time, just as our QuickTransit enterprise product line sales are ramping up,” said Bob Wiederhold, president and CEO of Transitive. “With the recent appointment of three new global distributors, Transitive’s sales channels will grow several orders of magnitude during 2008, requiring considerable scaling and refinement of our financial, administrative and legal processes. Prior to that, he served as the director of finance and controller for several successful venture-funded technology companies, including Sentient Networks (acquired by Cisco Systems), Apptitude (acquired by Hi/fn) and Silvan Networks. Harms also founded Branders.com, a Web-based provider of promotional products, and served in corporate and divisional financial roles at Hewlett Packard. Harms earned his CPA while at Ernst & Young in San Francisco, and he holds an MBA from Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and a BS from UC Berkeley.
